Softball Recap: Livingston's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Livingston had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They put the hurt on the Central Valley Hawks with a sharp 11-1 win. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by nine runs or more this season.

Annalee Aguilar made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Elizabeth Avila was a standout: she scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Tatiana Muniz, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Livingston was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .375 or higher in three consecutive games.

Livingston's record is now 15-6. As for Central Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-8.
