Ingomar is 3-0 against Potts Camp since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Ingomar Falcons will look to defend their home court against the Potts Camp Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Ingomar's favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Potts Camp has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Ingomar challenged Myrtle on Tuesday. Ingomar was the clear victor by an 81-57 margin over Myrtle. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Potts Camp scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against Houlka, falling 71-48. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 270th, while the Wildcats are ranked 122nd).

Potts Camp's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Ingomar, their win bumped their record up to 11-5.

Ingomar beat Potts Camp 93-82 in their previous matchup back in January of 2017. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Potts Camp's Shawn Gorman, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 15 boards.
