Volleyball Recap: Bergan Catholic Takes a Loss

The Bergan Catholic Knights came up short against the Freeman Falcons on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Despite the loss, Bergan Catholic still got an impressive performance from Zoe Janke, who had 25 digs. Janke has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last nine times she's played.

Addison Kastanek was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 13 digs.

Bergan Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 22-14. As for Freeman, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-4 record this season.

Bergan Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Freeman, they will take on Thayer Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
