Volleyball Recap: Plainview Gets the Win

Plainview won the last time they faced Jacksonville and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bears came out on top against the Golden Eagles by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Jada Gray was the offensive standout of the contest as she had nine digs and three aces. Those nine digs gave her a new career-high. Kella McCurdy also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Plainview's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Jacksonville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Plainview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Westbrook Christian on the 30th. Jacksonville has also already played their next contest (against Douglas), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
