Baseball Recap: Bethel Comes Up Short

Bethel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shawnee Braves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bees of the 7-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2022.

Bethel saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Christian Barker, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Bethel's record is now 13-12. As for Shawnee, their victory bumped their record up to 8-15.

As of now, neither Bethel nor the Braves have any future games scheduled.
