Football Recap: Madison Comes Up Short on the Road Against Scottsburg + How To Watch

Madison had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were beaten by the Scottsburg Warriors 42-0 on Friday. The Cubs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Nathan Byrd was the offensive standout of the matchup as he threw for 223 yards and three TDs. What's more, he racked up 136.4 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Garrett Boling also helped with two scores in total.

Looking ahead, Madison will take on South Dearborn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Scottsburg, they will challenge North Harrison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
