Brody Rogers continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 7 of 16 on his way to 17 points along with seven assists and six boards. That's the most assists he has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Oligmueller, who went 6 for 9 en route to 15 points.
They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Tekamah-Herman was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Pender on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Tri County Northeast with a sharp 64-38 win. The Pendragons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.
Pender's win came from a few key players Tekamah-Herman will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ryan Krueger, who went 8 of 11 on his way to 16 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. Trevor Trimble was another key player, putting up 12 points along with six assists and six boards.
Pender has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.1 points per game. As for Tekamah-Herman, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Tekamah-Herman has been crashing the rebounds this season, having averaged 30.6 boards per game. However, it's not like Pender struggles in that department as they've been averaging 34.2 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Tekamah-Herman was taken down by Pender 70-23 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Tekamah-Herman was down 39-13.
