Volleyball Game Preview: Cleveland Heights Tigers vs. Brunswick Blue Devils

Cleveland Heights hasn't had much luck against Brunswick recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Tigers will take on the Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m.

Cleveland Heights is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 21st straight game dating back to last season on Monday. They fell 3-1 to St. Martin de Porres.

While Cleveland Heights ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21, 19-25, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Brunswick earned a 3-1 win over Medina on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Battling Bees: they've now won three in a row.

Brunswick walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 26-24, 21-25, 25-22.

Brunswick's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4. As for Cleveland Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
