Herrin hasn't had much luck against Harrisburg recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Tigers will take on the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. Herrin is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

Herrin might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 9-2 to Johnston City, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Herrin saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaxton Faulkenberry, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Harrisburg didn't have quite enough to beat Murphysboro on Monday and fell 3-2.

Harrisburg has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Herrin, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Herrin might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from Harrisburg in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
