Basketball Recap: Loudoun Valley Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Heritage, Loudoun Valley was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Tuscarora Huskies by a score of 38-29. The 38-point effort marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Loudoun Valley's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Tuscarora, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Loudoun Valley won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Walkersville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Walkersville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Tuscarora, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll square off against Woodgrove at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
