After losing to Fabens the last time they met, Parkland decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Matadors came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0 on Friday.

While Parkland won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-12.

Ruby Fraire paced Parkland's offense, picking up ten kills. Fraire got some help from Amerie Aguirre and her 13 assists. Fraire was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.
