Softball Recap: Falls Lake Takes a Loss

Falls Lake fell victim to Roxboro Community and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 13-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 last Wednesday.

Falls Lake dropped their record down to 4-8 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Roxboro Community, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Falls Lake is taking a road trip to face off against Oxford Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Oxford Prep will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Falls Lake surely won't give up without a fight. As for Roxboro Community, they will challenge Eastern Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
