Volleyball Recap: Devils Lake Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home + How To Watch

Devils Lake lost against Carrington back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Firebirds lost 3-0 to the Cardinals.

While Devils Lake was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-17, 25-21.

Devils Lake's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brynlee Wolf, who had four digs and two aces. Riley Remmick was another key player, getting five digs and four aces.

Devils Lake's defeat ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-11-2. As for Carrington, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-1-1.

Coming up, Devils Lake will welcome Harvey/Fessenden-Bowdon at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Carrington, they are taking a road trip to take on Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
