Volleyball Recap: New Braunfels Thunder Victorious

New Braunfels Thunder picked up another tournament win on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Valor North Austin Lions. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Homeschool.

Their offense was headlined by Avalee Lenard and Peyton Callas, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Maddison Heiser and her seven assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

New Braunfels Thunder's victory bumped their record up to 9-2-1. As for Valor North Austin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Braunfels Thunder will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against St. Michael's at 6:30 p.m. on September 9. As for Valor North Austin, they will face off against Valor South Austin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
