The Dodge County Indians proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by 36) but on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Fitzgerald 54-51. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Dodge County has posted yet this season.

Dodge County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lyric Green, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 17 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which Green has scored at least a third of Dodge County's points. Another player making a difference was Autumn Rhodes, who scored 16 points along with five assists.

Dodge County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Fitzgerald, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7.
