Soccer Game Preview: Buena Vista vs. Millard North

The Buena Vista Bison will challenge the Millard North Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Millard North took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Buena Vista, who comes in off a win.

While Buena Vista's victory against Nebraska City wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bison skirted past the Pioneers 2-1. Buena Vista haven't had any issues with Nebraska City recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Mary Tejeda and Lily Ni?o Alvarado scored both of Buena Vista's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Millard North and Papillion-LaVista meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Monarchs by a score of 2-1. The loss put an end to Millard North's undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Millard North fell to 2-1. As for Buena Vista, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
