Soccer Recap: Milton Takes a Loss

The Milton Red Hawks came up short against the Delavan-Darien Comets on Saturday, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, Milton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 129th, while Delavan-Darien are ranked 36th).

Milton has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Delavan-Darien, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1-2.

Coming up, Milton will welcome Monona Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Delavan-Darien, they will challenge Heritage Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
