Volleyball Recap: Fountain Valley Takes a Loss

Fountain Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Huntington Beach Oilers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Barons of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Fountain Valley's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Huntington Beach, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-2 record this season.

Fountain Valley has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Sunny Hills on the 29th. As for Huntington Beach, they will head out to challenge Los Alamitos at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Huntington Beach is facing Los Alamitos at the right time seeing as Los Alamitos is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
