Basketball Recap: Ayaprun Takes a Loss

Ayaprun had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a hard 47-32 fall against the Tuluksak Wolverines on Thursday.

Tuluksak found their leader in sophomore Jenalyn Napoka, who posted 22 points. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for Napoka. Another player making a difference was Jesslyn Allain, who scored nine points.

Tuluksak's win bumped their record up to 2-5.

Ayaprun does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tuluksak, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 33-30 victory against Alakanuk on the 30th.
