Baseball Recap: Genesee Bulldogs vs. Prairie Pirates

Genesee extended their losing streak to four on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 6-8-1 in the process. They came up short against the Prairie Pirates, falling 25-8. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-5 on Saturday.

Conrad Seubert made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Noah Bollman, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

As for Prairie, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-4. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won five matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

On Prairie's side, Jake Quintal was incredible, going 3-for-5 with seven RBI, three runs, and one stolen base. Those seven RBI gave Quintal a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Schumacher, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.
