Paxton-Buckley-Loda's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hoopeston Cornjerkers 58-26. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Hoopeston had strong showings from Trenton Montez, who posted ten points and five rebounds, and Zach Huchel, who earned three points. Thanks to that strong game, Montez now owns an excellent 45.1% field goal percentage.

Paxton-Buckley-Loda's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-14. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.0 points over those games. As for Hoopeston, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-12.
