Volleyball Recap: Freeman Victorious

While Freeman's win against Centerville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Flyers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Tornadoes on Saturday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 7, 2021, but that streak is no more.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Freeman got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 23-25, 25-23.

The win snapped Freeman's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-3 record. As for Centerville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

Freeman will face off against Scotland at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Centerville has already played their next match (against Canistota), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
