Basketball Game Preview: Grafton Black Hawks vs. Hartford Orioles

The Grafton Black Hawks will face off against the Hartford Orioles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Last Friday, Grafton was fully in charge, breezing past West Bend West 81-48. The Black Hawks haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hartford, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past Port Washington 71-35 on Friday. Given the Orioles' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 16th, while the Pirates are ranked 125th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hartford pushed their record up to 17-3 with the win, which was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.7 points over those games. As for Grafton, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.
