Even though the Poteau Pirates scored an imposing 57 points on Friday, the Heavener Wolves still came out on top. Heavener skirted past Poteau 60-57. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Heavener has posted yet this season.
Among those leading the charge was Isaac Cook, who scored 23 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jackson Clubb, who scored ten points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Heavener and bumps their season record up to 10-5. As for Poteau, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.
