Baseball Game Preview: Laker Lakers vs. Frankenmuth Eagles

The Laker Lakers will head out to face off against the Frankenmuth Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Laker's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Frankenmuth's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Laker is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest victory since May 4th on Monday. They won by a run and slipped past Reese 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Lakers in their matchups with the Rockets: they've now won four in a row.

Freeland hit Frankenmuth with a four-run seventh inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 7-5.

Frankenmuth's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Laker, their victory bumped their record up to 22-6.

Laker got the 'W' when the teams last played back in May of 2025 against Frankenmuth by a conclusive 14-4 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lakers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
