Basketball Recap: Las Cruces Find Success

Las Cruces proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 22) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 40-37 win over the Centennial Hawks. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldawgs have posted since December 13, 2024.

Las Cruces pushed their record up to 11-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Centennial, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
