Baseball Recap: Sunrise Mountain Drops Highest Score of Season Against Arizona College Prep

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sunrise Mountain). They put the hurt on the Arizona College Prep Knights with a sharp 24-4 victory on Wednesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Mustangs with their most commanding win of the season.

The team relied heavily on Chase Heid, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. He has become a key player for Sunrise Mountain: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Jorge Campillo, who scored three runs while going 4-for-4.
