There's no place like home for Placer, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Yuba City Honkers 33-2. The Hillmen might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by 20 points or more this season.

Placer's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.8 points on average over those games. As for Yuba City, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Placer is set to square off against their familiar foe Del Campo at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Hillmen 13.4, the Cougars 13.4) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Yuba City will challenge rival Roseville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
