Basketball Recap: Eldorado Comes Up Short

Eldorado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 65-31 defeat at the hands of the Southeast Career Tech Roadrunners. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Firehawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-33 back in December of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Southeast Career Tech to victory, but perhaps none more so than Diego Galarza, who posted 15 points. That's the most points Galarza has posted since back in December of 2023. Rikkie Rodriguez was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Eldorado's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Southeast Career Tech, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Eldorado will take on Virgin Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southeast Career Tech, they will challenge Palo Verde at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
