Basketball Recap: Jasper Takes a Loss

Jasper was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 62-43 to the Orangefield Bobcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 62-42 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Jasper now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Orangefield, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4.

Jasper will head out to face off against Vidor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Orangefield, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against La Marque at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. La Marque will roll in looking for their 18th straight victory, something Orangefield surely won't give up without a fight.
