Softball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spring Hill Panthers. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jefferson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rayleigh Gulk, who went a perfect1-for-1 with one stolen base and two RBI. Gulk is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's stolen at least one every time she's taken the field this season.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Spring Hill, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Coming up, Jefferson will square off against Atlanta at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Spring Hill, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 7-6 victory against Marshall on the 14th.
