Softball Recap: West Point Triumphs

West Point won the last time they faced Fairview and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Warriors came out on top against the Aggies by a score of 10-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Katherine Yovino was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 4-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (three). Another player making a difference was Lauren Wyndham, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

West Point's win bumped their record up to 12-13. As for Fairview, they moved to 12-9 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, West Point will venture away from home to face off against Good Hope at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fairview, they will host Arab at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
