Graham is 9-1 against Brownwood since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Steers will venture away from home to challenge the Lions at 4:30 p.m. Brownwood took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Graham, who comes in off a win.

Graham took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They blew past Mineral Wells 3-0. The victory was some much needed relief for the Steers as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Graham not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Mineral Wells between 15 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-15, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Brownwood came up short against Stephenville on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14, 22-25, 25-14.

Graham will have to keep a close watch on Icess Hall and Sara Stubblefield, a pair of players who had a big impact on Brownwood's prior game. Hall had three digs and one block, while Stubblefield had seven digs and two aces.

Brownwood dropped their record down to 15-15 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Graham, their win bumped their record up to 26-9.

Graham was able to grind out a solid victory over Brownwood in their previous meeting back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Steers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
