Volleyball Recap: South Bronx Takes a Loss

South Bronx was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to Hamer. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Phoenix of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

South Bronx's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hamer, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coincidentally, South Bronx and Hamer will both be playing Taft the next time they take the court. Hamer will head out to face the Golden Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Phoenix will host them at 5:30 p.m. on the 9th.
