Basketball Recap: Donovan/St. Anne Find Success

If Illinois Lutheran wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Donovan/St. Anne, they should've done a better job of containing Lillian Courville. Donovan/St. Anne breezed past Illinois Lutheran to the tune of 42-13 on Thursday thanks in part to Courville, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine steals. Thanks to that strong game, she now owns an excellent 50% field goal percentage.

Donovan/St. Anne's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Illinois Lutheran, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Donovan/St. Anne will square off against rival Grant Park at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Illinois Lutheran is set to face off against their familiar foe Clifton Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
