Baseball Recap: East Juniata Tigers vs. Juniata Indians
East Juniata had lost three straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 3-8 to make it four. They fell just short of the Juniata Indians by a score of 4-3. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Indians from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.
East Juniata saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kelton Bonnell, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.
As for Juniata, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5-1 record this season. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since April 29, 2024.
