Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Union). They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Western Indians 66-8. The win continues a trend for the Dragons in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won three in a row.

Ashlah Staten was nothing short of spectacular: she went 11-for-20 on her way to 32 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. She has become a key player for West Union: the team is 4-1 when she posts at least 15 points, but 7-9 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Stout, who posted four points along with ten rebounds and five steals.

West Union smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 26 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

West Union now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Western, they are on a 28-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-18.
