Basketball Preview: Fairfield Lions vs. Miami Trace Panthers
The Fairfield Lions will be playing at home against the Miami Trace Panthers at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Fairfield was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 49-48 to the Rockets. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Fairfield came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 200th, while the Rockets are ranked 516th).
Miami Trace has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell to Washington 43-37. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Miami Trace has scored all season.
Fairfield's loss dropped their record down to 17-2. As for Miami Trace, their loss dropped their record down to 13-6.
