Basketball Recap: Williams Takes a Loss

Williams was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Joseph City Wildcats and fell 67-18. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 74-11 back in January.

When it comes to explaining why Williams lost, don't look at Kallie Trimble. Despite the final result, she posted nine points.

Audrey Neill was her usual excellent self, going 11 of 14 en route to 23 points along with five rebounds and five steals for Joseph City. Neill has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 15 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Amber Neill, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten steals.

Williams' loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Joseph City, they pushed their record up to 24-4 with the victory, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Williams nor Joseph City have any future games scheduled.
