Volleyball Recap: Ridgeland Falls Despite Big Games from Kali Crawford and Jordin Duran

Ridgeland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Gilmer Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Ridgeland's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jordin Duran, who had 14 digs, and Kali Crawford, who had seven assists and six digs.

Ridgeland's loss dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Gilmer, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-19 record.

Ridgeland has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Northwest Whitfield on the 23rd. As for Gilmer, they will challenge Flowery Branch at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
