Volleyball Recap: Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears vs. South Anchorage Wolverines
Juneau-Douglas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the South Anchorage Wolverines. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Crimson Bears of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-5.
Juneau-Douglas' defeat dropped their record down to 3-10-3. As for South Anchorage, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-6.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing Service the next time they take the court. South Anchorage will head out to face Service at 4:35 p.m. on Friday, while Juneau-Douglas will play them later in the day, at 3:40 p.m.
