Volleyball Recap: Aurora Takes a Loss

Aurora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Monett Cubs. If the Houn Dawgs were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Cubs when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Aurora took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-12, 25-20.

Aurora's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Monett, they pushed their record up to 7-2-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Aurora has already played their next match (against Seneca), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Monett also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against East Newton.
