Soccer Recap: Manistee Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Montague on Monday, Manistee came back down to earth. The Mariners fell 2-0 to the Whitehall Vikings on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Manistee of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Manistee's loss dropped their record down to 5-4-1. As for Whitehall, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manistee will challenge Suttons Bay at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Whitehall, they will venture away from home to square off against Western Michigan Christian at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
