Taylor waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They never let the Lafayette County Cougars get on the board and left with a 21-0 victory. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by ten runs or more this season.

Taylor's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Lafayette County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.

Coming up, Taylor will be playing in front of their home fans against Emerson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lafayette County, they are taking a road trip to square off against Nevada at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
