Honeoye scored the most points they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 58-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lima Christian Saints. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Saints recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Lima Christian found their leader in sophomore Alyssa Marsh, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 18 steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Marsh has scored at least a third of Lima Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophy Britton, who posted 18 points and three steals.

Honeoye's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-5. As for Lima Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Honeoye won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Naples at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lima Christian, they will take on Young Women's College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Young Women's College Prep will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Lima Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
