Softball Game Preview: Rickards Raiders vs. Bay Tornadoes

The Rickards Raiders will face off against the Bay Tornadoes at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Rickards came up short against Aucilla Christian on Tuesday, falling 11-4. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Arriana Wilson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 19 runs the game before, Bay was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They lost 16-1 to Bozeman.

Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Rickards, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Friday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Rickards hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .335. However, it's not like Bay struggles in that department as they've averaged .321. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
