Volleyball Recap: Kingwood Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Kingwood and Clear Creek squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Kingwood had to settle for second. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 3-0. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Kingwood's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Maggie Pugh, who had seven digs and one assist, and Molly O'Leary, who had seven digs.

Kingwood's loss dropped their record down to 15-26. As for Clear Creek, their win bumped their record up to 24-19.

Kingwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clear Creek, they will challenge Manvel at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
