Gatesville entered their tilt with China Spring on Friday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They took down the China Spring Cougars 58-43. That's more bragging rights for the Hornets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Gatesville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.2 points per game. As for China Spring, they now have a losing record at 11-12.
