            Durant got themselves on the board against Regina on Thursday, but Regina never followed suit. They were the clear victors by  a  10-0 margin over the Regals. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won three matchups by ten  runs or more  so far this season.
 Colby Gast made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. He also  tossed  no  earned runs, which is notable because Durant is undefeated when he allows at  most  one  earned run, but 2-4 otherwise. Gast was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  double.

 In other batting news, Durant let  Brady Daufeldt and  Owen Collier run wild. Daufeldt  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base, while  Collier  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double. Those  two  runs gave  Collier a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Conner Schwarz, who  earned one  RBI, two  runs,  and two  stolen bases.
 Durant  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .588. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Durant's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Regina,  with the  loss, they broke their nine-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-2.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Durant will take on Davenport West at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Regina, they will challenge Jefferson at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday.
