Davis Sr. has gone 8-2 against Pleasant Grove recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Davis Sr. Blue Devils will venture away from home to take on the Pleasant Grove Eagles at 3:30 p.m. Davis Sr. hasn't scored more than two runs for four games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

On Tuesday, Davis Sr. came up short against Vacaville and fell 6-2.

Davis Sr. saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max O'Geen, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. That RBI was O'Geen's first of the season.

Meanwhile, Pleasant Grove was able to grind out a solid win over Placer on Tuesday, taking the game 8-5.

Maddox Ali looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits.

At the plate, Gabe Wolfgram was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Newby, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Pleasant Grove always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March of 2024.

Davis Sr. now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for Pleasant Grove, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Davis Sr. came out on top in a nail-biter against Pleasant Grove in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 7-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for Davis Sr. since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
